Just realized that the two middle plastic fasteners on the cabin filter cover have nothing to attach to. There must be something missing from my center partition, but I can't see it on the part in REALOEM.

The engine partition craps out on every e70 I've seen. I've replaced it on both my x5s. Easy to do. Sometimes a 4th piece dies, which is under these.
The plastic is of extremely crappy quality, it falls a part in your hands, |

I figured there is no mystery to it just a plastic mold and since the OEM already tends to break, there is nothing to be lost trying an after market part. |
