What is supposed to go here? Optional phone dock?

What is the square-ish hole in the center console?

I don't like it because my galaxy s4 is to big to fit in there...might take an iphone though.

Then it is settled. It is now a banana holder.

iPhone 5s fits just fine but iPhone 6 won't so I guess I'll have to use for bananas too.

I keep my reading glasses there when I am driving. Never know when I need to pull over and read a text so having them at hand is convenient.

Also, my Mapco card fits in the pocket nicely as well.
