Service indicator will not RESET
2009 BMW X5 4.8 I have been trying for days to reset specifically the "oil change" service indicator. I can get into the service menu and scroll through all the different services to reset but when I hold the "trip reset button" instead of "RESET" it just says "OK". I have followed the guides in this forum and on youtube but it still doesn't give me the option to reset. The computer tells me my next oil change is 21,000kms June 2016. Going through the IDrive does not help either. It will not allow me to change the date for service. I have not gone to the dealer for this issue. Any ideas? This is the video I followed and Ive done my reading on the correct procedure but still nothing. BMW E70 E71 reset service light How to DIY: BMTroubleU - YouTube Thanks! |

It's a simple reset if you use Carly.
