Anyone shopping for an E70 X5 ?

I've been looking to buy an E70 X5 for a while now and I'm coming up empty handed wherever I look.

Does anyone want to team up and share buyers' tips ?

I'm in Texas today and I can't find a 35i I like and can afford. I'm also considering the 3.0 but I'm not so lucking looking for that too.

Meh, I thought I would post and see who is in the same situation and share ideas.

I just tried it with this link and I got 404 errors with the links they returned.

That is a foreign search engine. I'm not very familiar with it. Maybe I should take break from shopping. I'm looking for something specific and a deal.

Maybe I need to wait until all the 2015 models are really out at for sale at the dealers and push the all the prior year prices down. ;-)

I just got a 2008 3.0 si, sport premium technology 3rd row iPod integrated navigation smart key. Only thing missing is rear dvd, auto lift gate and cold weather ( in Florida so don care). Paid $31k with only 11,000 miles and in near perfect condition. It's great except for idrive and mpg. Got extended warranty bc this isn't a 1988 Mercedes e class that never breaks. Go for it!

What year and model are you looking for? What packages/options are you looking for? A 35i is not hard to find….4 to 1 in favor of the 50i. Tell us what you're after…

I live near the metro DC area and there are a lot of E70's around here for sale. Both the pre-2011 non turbo models As well as the newer ones. Are you looking for an exact exterior and interior combination? Is that why you're having trouble finding one?

Around here the '11 models with higher miles go in the upper 20's and lower mile ones go for low to mid 30's.

I found 2,279 used X5s 2010 to 2012 on cars.com in the usa.

You'll need to be a bit more specific with your requirements because there is no shortage of used cars. Also, you ned to understand asking price isnt selling price!

Edit: If you use the cars.com advanced search, narrow down years, then engine...then 'seller type' to only individuals, you can find more sane pricing....

Not sure how fruitful daily updates using a foreign web site would be for the OP Also, accessing it
could send up some red flags and some unwelcome dangerous tracking. Might be good to avoid
using it until security issues have been researched.....

Wow man, that sounds like a great deal. You gotta post a picture. Good shopping. I'm from Florida and my friends usually try to buy deals like that.

We would describe the car as:

"A nice old lady drove this car back and forth to church....Every sunday. Then she bought a new car and wanted to sell her old one"

Congrats on the sweet deal:
