Any chance the control module you're referring too is situated in the trunk of the car? I only ask because those strange multiple faults are precisely what I've experienced through water damage. Water gains access through either or both of the rubber boots on top of the tail gate opening and runs down the internal bodywork. It finds its way onto and into the fuse panel, tail light clusters, and at least one control module I'm aware of. This is surely speculation on my part since I have no experience with the light control module but if it happens to be located in the rear then do yourself a favour and look for signs of water ingress.
