So with every code that came out, parts were changed. Ignition coil Plugs Injectors Fuel lines and tank cleaned Fuel level sensors Both fuel pumps All this over the past 2 months. 5 different times brought to the dealership for same problem. BMW USA has also been involved but with resolution yet. What would you guys do? Any opinions on what else could be issue? |

By "BMW USA involved" that means you called Consumer Relations and they gave the appropriate noises of "we will closely monitor", etc, etc? Or it there an active PUMA case and BMW is involved in directing the actual repairs?
I assume you didnt look at any records when you purchased the car and didnt have a PPI done? Just assumed the CPO would do all that? (not) Not much you can do...what are your states lemon laws? Do you know? If it applies to you (if you are in the new car warranty period) and you hit the the threshold you might push there. |

Check on your state's lemon laws. Most states if it's in 3 times for the same issue and/or out of service for over 30 days during a 12 month period it's a lemon. I had to lemon a GMC pickup once. Started with the dealership and they/GM kept dragging their feet so I contacted the BBB and the state auto-dealer association and bingo I had a proposal in a week.

I should have done PPI but exactly what you said about it being a CPO is what I was thinking. Contacted state lemon law office. Not covered since its a CPO car which sucks. Lesson learned. Thanks for all your input.

if the car is still under the new car warranty (4 yr/50k) I fail to see why the CPO matters...are you sure you asked the right questions and explained it properly?
