Vinyl wrap piano black

Hi all,

Been digging into some options for replacing the trim on my X5 because I'm kinda bored of the Burr Walnut trim it came with. I like the idea of piano black as it would go well with the pearl trim finishers or whatever BMW want to call it ad as I have Camel nevada leather it would contrast well.. As piano black is a special order item it's going to be difficult to find it unless I go to the $tealer. I was thinking about doing a vinyl wrap with 3M 1080 which is the new version of Di-Noc (The poor man's piano black). I've never done anything like this but I'd like to have a go, I've no idea how to get any of the trim off the car. Any insight into this would be great and much appreciated.

This is the vinyl I have in mind
