Now that it is fixed, from a strictly dollars and cents point of view, keeping this X5 for the next 3.5 years will
probably be less expensive than purchasing another car of my liking. I assumed 1.5K maintenance expenses per year in my calculations, and a residual value of 8K.
But I think I will sell anyways, and look into leasing something new for the first time. My new mindset is "worry free maintenance."
