Farewell Xoutpost! I have jumped off the BMW wagon...for now
After getting the X5 tranny fixed up I sold it just yesterday. It received a pre purchase inspection from the dealership and "passed" with flying colours. They only recommended 3K in parts and labour...which made letting it go even harder, I expected much worse from the dealership. Selling was the right thing for me to do. I want peace of mind in my daily driver.
So I got a 2015 Lexus IS 250 AWD today! Still love BMW but I won't be driving one again until I can afford to buy new/er with a warranty. This forum has been a great resource to me from my E53 to the short time I had the E70. Thank you all!
