x5 e70 2008 INNER TAIL LIGHT on trunk flickering

hi,
i have a issue with my x5 e70 2008 INNER TAIL LIGHT on trunk flickering,
I called the stealer and they said i have to change the hole light for some reason .... does not make sense to me ....
Any1 know if i can just simply change the light bulb or is there fix for this as i think it is a LED.
Also if any1 knows about a repair kit or maybe knows what has to be repaired.
And before anything i have never seen any water dripping from those lights
**here is a video i posted on youtube as to what it does exactly**:

You have to remove the inner panel on the tailgate and check on the connector, I will guess its corroded by moisture...what I will suggest is to remove the whole tailight and clean the connector and make sure replace the tailight gasket. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGZ3GxH0Fs0

Here's a BMW bulletin on that point: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1e...ew?usp=sharing

If cleaning won't solve it, you may have to replace the all assembly for real since the LEDs are not sold as a replaceable item.
