I buy the 32oz bottle & use the scale on the oz scale on the bottle to dispense into long neck Techron bottles.

They claim to use no diesel fuel, kerosene, or solvents. The specs make no mention of it being synthetic. It does have high sulphur content, common with older motor oil formulations. They promote the sulphur as a lubricant. The detergents in it are likely the same as motor oil detergents. The power of marketing......

I don't think Lucas does much marketing in the Netherlands, and if they do, I doubt Christian Koenigsigg would use products because of empty claims.
Saw the "How it's Made" show where the production of the Koenigsigg One:1 (1hp per 1kg megacar) was the subject. Koenigsegg One:1 In the show, Lucas products were used during engine assembly, and Lucas Upper Cyl Lube was shown during fuel prep prior to dyno testing.

There is some logic to using an upper cylinder lube with alcohol fuels.
Not so with gasoline, at least with modern engines. For older engines without functional air cleaners, which experienced faster cylinder bore wear, they also had a place. And if one wanted to add oil to a fuel system one could use a low ash motor oil, like a two stroke engine oil.

I started using the Lucas fuel additive when ethanol fuel was phased in.

I wouldn't run a BMW on an alcohol fuel such as E85. And E5/E10/etc have lubricity specs that they have to meet, so that small amount of alcohol hasn't had an impact.
