The fender flares take an hour max to install yourself, maybe even down to 30 minutes if you have a rivet tool. Cost used to be about $250 for the parts but it probably went up a bit by now.
And regarding replicas - they may vibrate at high speeds due to imperfect roundness - I've had too much experience with this. If you can go OE, go for it. Otherwise, I'd say go with the Brooklyn place too - most likely was talking about: https://www.facebook.com/eudmautosports1 - they were very helpful on the phone even though I didn't end up going with them (my style wasn't available).
