Glove box question
I just recently aquired a 2010 X5M. While preping the car for my day to day use I found on my on my glove box a section where it looks something has to be inserted in it. At first I thought it was for the BMW rechargable flash light that most BMW have. When I tried inserting one its a whole different thing. I have attached a photo for your reference. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks |

I seem to recall this exact question before. Vaguely remember it's for storing a key/fob?

With CA (Comfort Access) if the battery in the remote is dead, that is where you put it so you can start the vehicle. Given that the vehicle will tell you when the remote battery is going, it will be non-issue.
