New rider... 2013

New to me ... 2013 X5 35i. Purchased at BMW dealership. 9 months
left on original warranty. 46 k mileage. Appears to be fully loaded. Carfax
clean, one owner, Arizona. No obvious flaws...well, some chips up front.
Will put a moratorium on "upgrades" until I get thru the learning curve.

looks to be in pretty good trim.

Charles

good Lord....

after reading thru about 10 pages of posts on the E70 forum I think I want to go out and shoot this thing in the engine block before it self destructs. I am hoping the sample size on forum respondents is skewed ...seems as if no one likes the X5 ??? Sheesh... disappointing. Our last SUV was a Merc... and the bride loved it, had to unload it after highway rear-ender.

Probably good for BMW Pre-owned sales I didn't come to Xoutpost.com before closing the deal.

Does anybody love or even like thier X5 ?

Hope the forum posts are atypical ... or, we'll be unloading this before October...most likely at a loss. Bummed. (no problems yet (1 week)) but this place sure ended the honeymoon phase quickly !

I have an F15 now, but had a 2011 E70 X5 and loved it, never had a single issue with it the 3 years I owned it, went to an F25 X3 for 3 years and back to the X5 now, much better vehicle than the X3 (but you get what you pay for I guess).

Good luck with the E70, the forums tend to collect all the complaints, but 95% of the people are not on here complaining and are just happily driving them I think!

Happy motoring !

Ummm, what posts are you reading? I love my X5. I'd buy another one. Most of the post I read are about problems or issues that we need help diagnosing. You'll love your X5. Keep it, own it.

I was put into a 2015 X5 while mine was in for some warranty work for over a week. I was so absolutely happy to get back into my E70. Its far more comfortable and the driving experience is a million times more engaging.
