skialex is on a distinguished road
buying a new 35d, any advice?

We are most likely looking to purchase a new 35d x5 and I was wondering what sort of negotiating power we have, as I heard that the diesel sales tanked after VW scandal. What is the typical discount off MSRP on a decently optioned diesel X% can I expect?

Also, I am thoroughly confused by the different between the lines of the current X5. What are the differences between the X-line and the more basic model? What does the M-Sport line add/take away?

Anything else I need to know?

P.S. We are currently driving high mileage 2004 X5, so I am familiar with the X5 in general. We won't be trading that one in, so the deal will be pure cash.

thank you!
