2017 X5s 3.5

Anyone know how to order a 6 cyl X5 with a special paint from the X5m list? I want the Long Beach Blue metallic. The local dealer says the only special paint can be ordered with a 5.0 8 cylinder engine. I have owned the 2001 E53 3.0 since new and want to stay with the 6 cylinder engine.

I was told by my Crevier rep that any color is possible, but you'd have to pay an extra "customization" charge of $1k on top of the additional color cost.

I was told by 2 different BMW sales reps that a custom color costs an extra $5k.

I've been very busy. Need to call him this week. The BMW sales mgr. here in Ft. Lauderdale said that only V8 X5's can have a custom color for an added $5K. They were not interested in finding out anything more for me. I saw on their computer screen that info. on a dealer only internal web-site.
