Smile 2014 X5 F15 MOST BUS Woes

Hi all, please please please can somebody help!

My 2014 X5 has developed a problem...
No Warning Tones displayed on the screen... No Radio Sound - radio is on, stations are listed and CD ejects and loads... Bluetooth doesn't work - No telephone connection
* I can adjust certain settings and the Navigation works just fine.

I have purchased a fibre optic loop, and began by plugging it into the fibre optic cable that leads into the Amp, this doesn't seem to make any difference. I have the flashing red light going into the amp, I believe that the satnav is the module before the amp so I assume that this is fine (as I have the red light) I have no idea where the loop goes after this and I'm reluctant to tear the car apart looking for it aimlessly!

I'm at my wits end, BMW want hundreds just to diagnose but I've heard horror stories about the replacing part after part to no avail and costing thousands!!

I hope that there is somebody out there with the knowledge to be able to help!

Thanks in advance
