How many miles are on your F15?

Not quite a major milepost, but it is exactly at one year of ownership during which I managed to log 20,500 miles on it. No problems other than the center button won't program on the homelink.

As of 2/17/21 at my last fill up…my 2014 X5 50i’s odometer read 87271. The only thing that doesn’t work correctly is the auto-up on the front passenger window. It auto-downs…but won’t auto-up regardless of how many attempts to reinitialize it. Fortunately, this non working feature does NOT bother me enough to investigate any further.

Almost 92K. The steering column retract motor failed no long after I bought the car Nov 2019. A used replacement motor was installed and function was restored. I bought a few spares! The motor is designed to fail. The brushes are prevented from utilizing their full length and motors cannot be sourced new I found out.

We have 84k on our '15. Getting ready for front & rear diff. fluid change, new serpentine belt + front seal guard. Have done transfer case fluid change & trans filter & fluid. Also will be looking at changing water pump & thermostat. Already bought new ones. I did change brake pads at 81k.

Had the same issue for the past few weeks. Seems to happen after my CEO borrows it for puppy transporting activities. It will be stuck in the fully retracted position for a few days, then magically start to operate after I reset the seat memory. I suspect a limit switch is not operating correctly and lets the column overtravel.

I am the original owner and as of March 27, 2022, my 2016 BMW X5M has just over 91,520 miles. I recently had a fair amount of work performed by two different BMW Dealerships, including a full vehicle servicing that flushed and replaced all fluids, replaced all filters, as well as replacing the rear air suspension springs and compressor, corroded bolts that secure the front steering rack to the subframe and the bolt securing the rear suspension lower camber arm, in order to accurately perform a 4-wheel alignment. This vehicle has performed above my expectations. Several years ago I had purchased from BMW an extended warranty and their extended service maintenance program. So at this point, I expect to continue driving it for the next 18 months, putting approximately 25,000+ miles on it.

I was originally planning on replacing it this coming fall with a 2022 BMW X5M, but changed my mind due to the continued issues with the global supply chain and unavailability of a number of features and options and many dealers attempting to sell these vehicles over MSRP. Therefore, I have decided to wait until the fall of 2023 and order a new, mid-cycle refreshed BMW X5M that will be configured exactly the way I want it and purchased for a decent discount below MSRP.
