TriX5 is on a distinguished road
Possible purchase: 2017 F15 X5 35i

Guys, I need to replace my daughter's car. She drives the E53 when it is serviceable but I need something more modern for her. This summer I may have a line on a 2017 X5 35i. Pretty much bog standard and 90k miles. The body has some dings and scratches. I know the current owner pretty well but the catch is that this person is already the fifth owner and it had two accidents. The rear door pulls have some damage and need to be replaced, the driver's seat has the usual crack on the seat bolster and some other minor interior damage.

So, no beauty queen but it has a decent service history at a couple of local dealers. Its current condition is a good excuse to put some M-version items on it and it probably needs a tune. I am not too impressed with output of the i6 engine in standard form.

AFAIK, the current owner paid 16k for it last July (despite my protestations to the contrary...) and the owner before that is also a known party. I would offer 10k and see where it takes me, there is no way I'd put more than 11.5 up for this thing. But maybe I should steer clear altogether?
