Let's take it one step at a time.

1. There are no delays. As a matter of fact the new F15 X5s are being produced at the Spartanburg SC plant daily as we speak.

2. BMW is readying them for a World Debut and is stockpiling the build units. Remember USA is the only country where they are made.

3. One final item that needs to be resolved before BMW can ship them to dealers is that they have to pass the CARB certification and that has not been done yet.

4. Theoretically once the CARB certification is passed BMW can start deliveries.

5. I have one if the first orders in the new F15 in the Order bank and already have a standby date to take delivery at the PCD as soon as BMW releases them.

I have done PCD 15 times and they are pulling some strings for me...

Hopefully the above explained some of your concerns.

Thank you

Are you guy getting diesels and if so which one. Gas engines look like they are delayed for US market until at least November.

BMW previously announced that diesel F15 production wouldn't start until December 2013, at least for diesels certified for the US market. They are producting different diesel F15 models for other markets.
