"Power window switches finally reside on the door panels instead of at dash center"
Please explain to me what version of the X5 had Power window switches on the dash center??? Not the E53 or the E70. "The second-row bench is an elaborate contraption that moves fore-and-aft, reclines, splits on a 40/20/40 ratio, and tumbles forward out of the way. Unfortunately, that imposes complexity and operating effort that most family members will resist." Seriously???? you simply pull the one lever and the seat flips forward. For god sakes my wife figured it out in about 10 seconds.

I think Car and Driver probably meant the "power door lock" switch. Now on the F15, the power door lock switch is actually on the door.

I have a few choice words for the editor and author but will keep to myself.

Yup agree, but when was the last time you had a BMW without the door lock on the dash? Sorry, I only have e39, e63, e70, e90 as reference. That's like complaining that an iPhone only has 1 button! Seriously, That is a BMW trait forever.
