Will the F86 M Multifunction seats fit on the E71 X6M?

I’m considering the possibility of retrofitting the F86 M Multifunction seats into an E71 X6M. I’m not looking or hoping for a definitive answer with this thread but rather just get a feeling from fellow members so my I’m not completely in the dark trying to get the seats.

Apart from the electrical connections, there’s the possibility the seats won’t physically fit in. I tried to do some searching and the seat rails are specific to the Multifunction seats. That alone may not be the problem but the mounting points to the car’s structure should be the main issue.


What else do you guys think I should consider or what am I missing considering this retrofit?


The other possibility would be to use the Recaro CS Sportster seats instead…

Someone in Russia put those seats in an E53. Prob works in E70 too but you need a custom module which allegedly is also made somewhere by someone... in Russia.
