when i first saw the grey X6 i was quickly reminded of my mom's old car: amc concorde...don't know why, really.

Now that you brought it up, it does look like the amc. I was wondering why the X6 looked so familiar.

If that's the final version, I will go ahead and predict it will sell than than 15K units a year in the US. Maybe some of the Europeans will like it, but I do not see the typical US consumer (even a BMW-biased one) wanting to ante up for that thing.

Regardless of what the final sheet metal looks like, that black fender cladding has to go. It doesn't look right on a sedan. Tell that to the boys in Munich, Scott.
