There is a neat configurator facility that allows you to try out different wheel and exterior colour variations.

Thanks for the vid. Having a person stand next-to/get-in the car really helped show the real size (pretty well disguised) of the vehicle.

Do you have any track lap times compared with the X5?

Wow, what a neat configurator that gives you a great drive by view in your choice of colour.
I have to say I am loving the Red (with cream interior,i think) this car will definately be replacing the ML63AMG.
Very impressed indeed, it would have been nice to have the choice of the Charcoal Frankfurt Concept car though.

Simon, I am struggling to avoid going for the X50i, much as I am telling myself that the 35d would be the sensible choice when I use the configurator on bmw.co.uk to spec a 35d X5 and compare with a 4.8i X5, there's only about £4-5k difference.

Can you get bigger wheels than the ones shown in the Vids ???

Would love to see one with 20's or 21's ????

Also, is there an official launch date for the UK yet ??

steve, i'm definately going for the X50i no question.
I have a 650icab also & that is pretty special, the diesel would be the sensible choice but in time I would know I made the wrong decision.
the tailpipes are far better on the X50i anyhow
tbh honest Steve, i'm hoping to put the Ml in against a X50i well specced and spend no more than £5k
what colours are you feeling at the moment?
1 Red
2.Black

everything seems a little flat, especially silver & grey.
