So they are 20's on the vid on the other thread ???

Maybe the arches are larger, and i never noticed them being flaired like the X5 are when running 20's+....?

Cool, i like those a lot....

I'd love to see them on the X6 to see how mean it looks, also with running boards....

Strange that running boards aren't featured in the vids...?

Are they in the price list Glenn, I haven't looked yet.

I also would like the roof rails - somehow they seem to complete the look for me.

Running Boards are option 328 - aluminium trittbretter - p11
Roof Rails should be option 386 - Dachreling - but I could not find them in the file

However on P17 it has nachrustsatz dachreling - which I think is roof rails that are fitted after delivery (nachrustsatz = supplementary part) - certainly they are in the accessories section (sonderzubehor) rather than the options section - that suggests to me that they are removable. These are available in Silver (silber) or black (schwartz).

Shame the V8 engined 50i model won't be available until Christmas next year though isn't it. I'm thinking of buying one of the first 35d models and having an order down for a 50i as well which would allow me to trade in the 35d if I wanted for the 50i after 6 months or so.
This goes to show how the UK market does not favour big gas guzzling engines anymore.I'm struggling to remember the last time BMW did not launch a new vehicle without a big petrol engine.
Oh well, even though I am extremely disappointed by this it will not stop me from ordering a 35d Steve.
As we are both coming out of ML63's for this X6 I just hope we don't regret our decisions in 12 months time.
Was the X5 3.0sd that bad Steve when you drove it?

I am driving the 3.0sd again this coming Friday and spending a few hours in it, so will let you know Simon.

I also was working with one of the remap tuners this evening (Simitis) and they were very complimentary about the ease of extracting more power and torque from this 35d engine without any downsides.

what about the 35i Steve, the I6 TT should keep us petrol heads happy i'm guessing, plus it's cheaper than the 35d.
