Black X6 xDrive 35i spotted at local Mickey D's
I live in the Upstate area of SC,home of BMW Manufacturing.I spotted this Black X6 in the parking lot of a local McDonalds tonight.First Black X6 I've seen in person or in any pics.We see a few prototypes around town every so often.Beautiful car!!!!! Car appeared to be a finished production model. There was no camo at all on the car,all badging and BMW logos were clearly visible.First X6 I've seen around town w/o any camo.Interior was black or dark grey. The car had two child car seats in each of the rear seats.Had a BMW Manufacturer tag,I'm sure it is a take home tester for an employee. The car appears smaller until you walk up and get close to the car.I guess that was the intended effect.I'm about 5'10'' tall and the top of the rear hatch hits me in the middle of my chest.I noticed that only one of the front air vents that surround the fog lights is actually operational. The left side, as you face the car is not open, the right side had some sort of radiator behind the vent. Not sure what the radiator is for.... transmission, motor oil,??? Snapped a few pic's. Thanks.

This makes me even more confident that I want this car in black.
If pricing strategy stays the way BMW has it in the UK, and the X6 is the same price as the X5, I'll be sitting behind one of these babies in April! |

thanks for the pictures, but how amazing would it be if you had a slr camera or any camera with good resolution. Oh well, we should all be lucky that someone was nice enough to snap the pics and put it up here. Thanks again buddy and this is really what the forum is all about! sharing pics with germancar MANIACS

Thanks for the nice comments.I've got a nice Sony camera w/ all the fancy "anti shake" stuff!!!!???? Not sure what's up w/ that camera.I had seen this same X6 a little closer to where I live earlier in the day.Late to pick up my son from school and could not follow.I'm sure my path might cross w/ this same X6 in the future.I'll try to get better pics.Thanks.Palbay

Nice catch. I saw quite a few pre-production models between I-85 and the streets of myself while I was down there.
No more snow though
