Just curious, why don't any of these vehicles have license plates?

Don't they typically run a manufacture plate or something?

The local BMW Plant, Dept Mgr's and Testing Dept employees X6's all have SC Manuf Tags. The X6's going over to this holding area at the airport do not have any tags as you noted. These cars look to be finished production models.I have to assume they are going overseas as dealer demo's or marketing event demo's.I was told early on by some plant employees that the first 1,500 or so X6's would be going to dealers as demo's.According to my sources they are making 15-20 X6's per day right now.Going slow on the ramp up as they learn to built this thing. The plant started real production of the X6 in Nov of last yr.Working 20 days per/mon,they don't produce on the weekends, they are kicking out approx 300 X6's per month. At the pace they are on,the timing coincides w/ dealers getting their first X6's in that April-May window.I'm not a BMW employee, just have good contacts/friends at the Plant. Thanks. PalBay
