Rear Visibility-X6

Here are the pic's addressing rearward visibility.I set both the rearview mirror and drivers seat as I would drive the car.Pretty lousy look to the rear.I'm not sure what else BMW could have done given the drastic slope of the rear part of the roof. Also,I've seen comments about rear windshield wipers on the X6.I did not see any rear windshield wipers on the press Day cars or for that matter any X6's I've seen.I think they are counting on the steep slope and gravity to get rid of the water. Thanks.PalBay

Style over function. While the style part is subjective, the (lack of) function isn't.

Pal's pics really bring home the lack of function. This could indeed be a deal killer for me.

Why didnt BMW introduce some kind of blind view monitering system is beyond me. The X6 requires it the most out of all the vehicles in their line-up. I read in their magazine that they were testing it but lets hope they dont take that long.

Seems pretty close to the same as a 6er. Very little visibility.

Drive a Mini cabrio with the top up. THEN you'll understand blind spots.

Easy solution: learn to drive with your mirrors.

I was always wondering why some minis have parking sensors, this explains it.
