Run Flats and a Spare ????

Went to dealership a few days ago to see X6. Loved it, still deciding between X5 and X6. I was amazed that it had the optional wheels which are run flats and a full size spare tire. I guess your double protected. But it adds some unnecessary weight doing both. I guess if your concerned about weight and only travel locally you can leave the spare in the garage.
