Original X6 Test Mule

Found this X6 test mule at my favorite spot, the Special Vehicle Ops Bld.I thought I had really stumbled up on something....maybe 2nd Gen X3 test mule,X6"M".....It was only after I looked at the pic's closely, that I decided it was an original X6 test mule.I compared some of the early pic's of the prototypes seen in Munich and on the Ring,etc...This car at the Special Vehicle Ops Bld matches up exactly w/ those earlier pic's.Still my antenna went up a few notches upon discovering this car.Why is here in the Upstate? Maybe post launch, they compare original design criteria against finished production model.Whatever reason that it's here for,it was kidda neat to see it in person, albeit, through an 18x zoom lens. Thanks! LeMansX5,It's really hard to tell. The car was parked against the back fence of the SVO's Bld, the furthest point from where I can stand behind the entrance gate to this place.I have a pretty big file of old X6 test mule pic's.It seems to match up pretty well w/ the X6.....but I'm not 100% sure. There were no other cars parked around it to give a sense of it's actual size.I'll just have to keep my eye's peeled! Thanks. PalBay

CGSTL,You and I think alike.....I tried my best to enlarge the pic enough to read that sticker. My camera wimped out on me.Even w/ 7 megapixels and 18x zoom, just lost to much resolution when enlarged past a certain point. Thanks! PalBay
