X-6 Sales...

Anyone know the BMW official sales projections for the X-6?? I was just wondering as I was going to watch future sales to see where the 6 ends up. I am one of the glass half empty guys that think long range it's not a good move. Don't know what BMW means by 2008 allocation sold as the only two dealers I've been by lately have units for sale. I have also seen more ads in my opinion than normal for the 6 so I think it's going to be interesting. Just my opinion.

You are right, I think May and June will give us a better indication of the X6 strenght.
Also remember that the X6 50i is yet to go on sale, and if the X5 is any indication where 4.8i outsells 3.0i, then we should expect better sale figures.

Not sure what your data source is, but typically the 3.0 has outsold the 4.4 or 4.8 two to one over the life of the X5. The last data on this site is months old, but the report includes 2007 year to date figures, and compares the E70 and the E53.

All I know is that my local dealer has three or four on the lot... was just looking at one yesterday on the showroom... don't know if that means anything, but it does not appear as though my local dealer has sold many of them... if any.
