Arrow Pics please - Brushed aluminum trim

I'm considering the brushed aluminum trim with black interior for my next ride. I haven't seen it in person. The only pics I've seen are the ones on bmwusa where you build your own.

Please post pics if you have. I'm not so concerned with the interior color against the trim. I was thinking that the big trim piece near the glove box might be blinding in the aluminum.

Thanks

Here's a few off my other forum: Sorry they're kind of big. The first one also includes the leather-wrapped dash, if anyone is interested in how that looks.

Check out this guy's album as well for Tobacco/Aluminium (nice camera!): Picasa-Webalben - Björn - BMW X5

Personally, I like aluminium trim in most vehicles since I prefer black or gray upholstery. Also the aluminium is not high-gloss so there is minimal glare. In fact, I dislike the wood trim because the glossy surface reflects the sun into my eyes.

We have the aluminium trim and have noted that you don't want to rest your arm on the door on a hot day (ooucchhh!!!!)

My wife is also prone to scratching the centre console pieces with her bag/bits somehow.... so we have been trying to get piano black like my E60

Cheers

Way too much going on here for me. Especially since no sports package. That interior color with the black and the light grey headliner....Nope.

Is this is the same red enterior used for the E9x? Looks darker, esp in the third pic. Is red interior for the E70 special order (ie. $4500 extra), or just one that requires special ordering?

Red is way too intense for me. I know it looks stunning and sporty, but I can't live with that kind of interior everyday. I prefer Gray or black, in that order, cuz it's a colder scheme that's no-nonsense. Plus, I don't really like shouty cars or shouty interiors.
