I like the X6, sorta...esp. in certain colors, but I am surprised the
wheel offerings are so hmmmm, unless one goes to 20s.
But, I wanna ride in L's big HP car one of these months!

I'm really trying not to get caught up in the change out the wheels each season deal. I'll keep whatever 19s come standard unless I really hate them. The 258s aren't bad I guess, but like mD said, I'm surprised the choices are so

As the truckers used to say on the CB, "I heard that".

Yeah, that's it and standard on the 5.0i. I don't think it looks bad, but I'Ll admit that the X6 is one of a few BMW models that's a bit short on imagination for wheel designs. Maybe they used it all up creating the exterior.

If you want a quick visualiser just click on the wheel designs: BMW X6 : Außenausstattung

If you want to be very, very special, the Individual wheels are 19" as well, style 265. Might be pricey.

Thanks Matt. I'm waiting to hear back which 19" wheel comes standard with the sports package. Unless I hate them, I'll keep them. I could live with the 258s or the 232s.

EDIT: I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Dealer said they don't have the info yet on which wheels will be standard. Maybe they'll have a new style....

What about potholes in NJ/NY areas ??? With 19", I end up doing wheel alignment every 10-12K miles, with 20" it might get even worse!

Aren't the 20s staggered, those 315s will be sleds. Plus, if I change to the 20s on the order, they come with performance tires, not all seasons.

Do you hit every pot hole? I've never had an alignment and I'm straight as an arrow.

I'll just wait and see what comes standard.

With my luck.... But I'd say this car keeps alignment the best compared to other ones I owned before.

Yes, they are staggard. But if you are driving on under 5-6" of snow you should be ok. Little diference between stag 19" and 20".. jmh has 20s for winter and I believe few X5 members have all season Toyos.
Toyos and Michelin Latitude Tour HP are all seasons in those sizes.
