Run-flat and tire preassure monitoring question

I just bought a new set of 20" style 214 wheels and tires for my X6 3.0d ( not here yet )

My concern goes because my car came with factory 19" w/runflats , so I was wondering if I will have any kind of trouble when I switch to the new non-runflat tires and non tire preassure monitoring system ?

Do you think the car will give me some kind of warning or any electronic error message ?

Any suggestions or comments will be highly appreciated
Bernie

Switched the runflats to non runflats on an X5 and the tire preassure monitoring system still works

Does anyone knows exactly how the tire preassure monitoring system works ? is about the RPM's on each wheel or electronic monitors on each wheel ?

Your X6 oe wheels should have a TPM sensor in each wheel...
it is a Direct System that reads "actual" tire pressure, continuously
from each wheel/tire combo. It is not about "RPMs", or wheel diameter
difference, etc., as was found in early X5s, etc. That was the flat
tire monitor/Indirect system.

Should not be a prob going to diff wheels/non-run flats, if the
installer places the sensors properly. Many threads on this topic,
found using Search Tab.
