I've got the X5 bug, now the wife wants in, well close anyway...
What are your thoughts on this? The dealer wants to sell it to me at $61,000.00 (which is $1,500 over invoice. - I'm shooting for $500 over.) 36 month lease, 15K per year, 57% residual, .00225 money factor, no money down except holiday bonus $2,500, 725 acq fee and 925 ref sec, 1st month and dmv upfront. I was thinking about doing multiple MSD's to get the money factor down by .00007 per and reduce my payment down to about $790.00 per month, plus tax.

Depends if you like the colors, those are very "Love or Hate" (I had a Touareg the same color, I like it)
I remember that my dealer in Boston had to give away their stuffed X6's at 699 a month last year, but I don't remember any of those deals, and as we all know, things have changed. I'd look for a leftover.

doesn't seem like there's much else you can do..
if dealers get $1500 they're very happy..but they do expec at least $500.. I would shoot for 500 over invoice..or a maximum of $1000. they are pretty desperate these days...even if they don't show it... ask them to look around, you can count the number of people and most of them are "window shopping" i have never leased so i'm not sure what other options you have with that regard...

I wish my wife was so easy to convince. She thinks the X6 looks like a turtle. But I LOVE that turtle!!
Don't know too much about the lease deal. All I know is that $500 over invoice was easy last year. But this year, all my local dealers having been wanting at least $1000 over.
