Question Power upgrade for X6 35 - Evotech, JB3 and others

1. Have found an interesting performance upgrade from Evotech
EVOTECHMOTORSPORT - Tuning Konfigurator

Stage 2 - 380Hp and 520Nm
Stage 3 - 401Hp and 560Nm

2. Other option is JB3 JB3 Burger Motorsports Juice Box Stage 3 PnP Performance Tuner BMW X6 N54 08+

386Hp and 480Nm

3. BMW ECU Remap | Evolve Automotive X6 35i
370Hp

Has anyone installed one of these? May be some other performance updates?
Interesting to know 0-60mph times.

The most respected tune out there is the Procede by Vishnu Tuning.

how's that?? I had the procede v2.x on my 335i and it was throwing CEL's left and right. Switched to JB3 and problems went away and I was dyno'ing +25hp vs the procede. Readings were also showing that the procede was running much leaner which is BAD.

Interesting. You should have called them for support. I have been running the process since the first version with no problems. Shiv even took me out in the prototype version, so I was here on the forum when shiv distributed the original plans for a juice box as an example to the forum, hence the JB name. I am just expecting more I guess. My car will only have a full tune with control over all systems, a hardware solution to trick the computer and rely it to do the work is not enough for me.

What was total HP gain for procede?

My car hasn't seen a dyno, so it would not be fair for me to give you numbers. There are a ton of dyno's on the e90post, among other sites. It is also important to remember that a tune should improve the way a car performs on the road under your most important driving scenario. For example, I don't want a tune just to get a high dyno number and perform well on the drag strip. The dyno number is important, but I really want something that performs well on the road during spirited driving. Therefore, things like how quickly the boost comes on, how the tq curve looks compared to hp, etc. is very important as well.

Agree with you. I have seen drag times for moded 335 vs M3. Numbers are very close. But M3 is still another car with perfect driving in different conditions.

Talking about X6 it would be nice to have moded 35i closer to stock 50i.

I don't need to call them. They are right down the street from me here in the bay area. Never got it to run right. The JB3 on the other hand ran right right out of the box.

Any news on Procede V3 for X6. Heard it was tested on X6 35 but not officially released... While JB3 seems to be working for X6...Any thoughts?
