You guys realize that this is the fastest hybrid and you are comparing it to M cars.
This car has different purpose. This is for tree huggers.

LM, That was my comment, too...limo libs; well-to-do limo libs, at that.
If they sell more than a few hundred a year, I'll buy lunch.

I like its look...but for that price, "Why Not?" on an ///M instead--

What is the X6 Hybrid's Expected MPG Ratings???
Quick question:I understand from the official press release that the X6 Hybrid is "expected" to get an approximately 20% improvement on gas mileage over the standard gasoline only powered X6, which I am assuming they are referring to the X6 3.5 version as opposed to the V8.Has anyone here heard or read what the actual / anticipated U.S. MPG ratings are for both city and highway driving for the X6 Hybrid?mswaz: Was it listed on the Mfgr's. Window Sticker on the one pictured above? (I would assume it was). If so, do you remember what it stated?Very curious...AVB-AMG

The expensive parts are all underneath. The most advanced production BMW made today.
A Prius is way more expensive than a Corolla, but they do the same thing. Why would anyone buy one? Image. So, Jay Leno has to go to a 'green' event, what does he show up in? |

When I see those wheels I am reminded of a Cuisinart food processor.

The wheels are even uglier in person.

yuck. Saw a bunch at Welt. Fugly. More reasons BMW should adopt the monochromatic scheme, esp with these toaster doohickeys.

Those wheels are on there as the standard option due to efficiency etc. but any other wheel style is still an option when ordering. Still the "fastest hybrid in the world" with performance specs and 0-60 times to match the E53 4.6is/4.8is.
