Test drove the X6 50i today
Test drove a 2011 X6 50i today. Was really really disappointed in this pathetic excuse of a car!

Ok just kidding

I was really impressed and ordered one right after the drive. Much more planted than the X5. Love the sound of the engine. In fact I didn't even bother with the 35i (which I'm sure is a fine vehicle as well)

I did inquire about the perf upgrade. It wasn't available in the online ordering guide. My CA is going to find out the scoop on it.

Will definitely post pictures when I get it

We didn't see it in the order book, or available as an option on the dealer online ordering system. I think something changed with this in '11. I've heard that it is now meant to be a dealer installed option, but I really am not sure

Hint: it has an ugly rearend!

Anyway, I am glad you decided what to get. You know me too well, so it will be the X5M(2010 leftover), the X650i or the CS. I am still waiting on Lexus, but will know for sure by weekend. Then I can go shopping!
