Long time member w/ Modding Addiction - introducing the new ride

Been a long time member since having my 05 X5 - after selling it, transitioned to a Range Rover Sport and LandRover LR3 and then the MINI.

Before introducing the X - here's a few pics of my last project car...which I had a hard time letting go...hope you guys like em'!
2006 MINI Cooper S aka "Ramsey"

The X.

Purchased on 7/05/2010, i was finally able to get a great deal on a 2008 X6 50i having only 7k miles with the following options:
- Active Vent Seat Package
- Cold Weather
- Premium
- Premium Sound
- Rear Climate
- Sport
- Nav, HUD, Rear Camera & Rear Entertainment

At the dealer:

Modding began a month after purchase...

- prepping the ride for the new paint job
- installing the performance kit
- Meisterschaft exhaust installed
- wheels had 8 weeks of build time

....all coming together

sample swatches

just in case your wondering, i'm doing an SUV Reventon....

door jams looking pretty clean

hard to tell with all the harsh lighting from the booth, but should give ya an idea...

**Had to repaint the car - the first run didn't come out the way I wanted it. Sometimes when the matte finish is too matte, it ends up looking like primer in the sun. Second try came out SICK.

At the booth...

Paint done...texture and color came out like Shark's Skin.

Wheels came in and hope to pick up the ride tomorrow. 3 weeks of minivan driving has been enough.

DPE Shallow Concave - (F) 22x10 (R) 22x11.5

And some pics out in the sun.

door jams

Hope to get everything done this weekend, then lowering springs then...who knows?
