Hey sorry about that, I just realized and sent you a PM. Looks as if the package is going to be delivered on Monday.

Rob - I'm thinking your adjustable links might be the solution to dropping the rear on my '06 530xiT.

Here's picture of an '02 X5 rear air suspension (top diagram Part # 11) compared to the '06 530xiT rear air suspension (bottom diagram Part # 09).

I'm going to have to get underneath the car and take some measurements. It looks to me that your adjustable link might work as is. Do you have anymore left?

The members on E60.net haven't figured out how to do the rear suspension drop yet. A couple of them have had independent mechanics drop the sensor positions, but they can't describe how it was done.

There is no better website than xoutpost.com.

Sounds very interesting... OK, If you can get under there and take a measurement center to center of each joint. I can make up a set that will fit. Also if you could snap a pic of the OEM endlink install so I can see what kind of clearance we have to play with. Once I have all that I can make them up in a day and get them out to you. I'll send it to you, try it, if it works keep it! Just spread the word for me. If not just send it back.. I'll keep an eye for the specs, Rob;)

Rob - I'll probably do it this weekend. Gotta dig through my garage and find where I buried my jack stands. Never really had much of a use for them with my X5 - never had to jack it up for anything including oil changes. I'll send you the measurements.

Regards, Mike

Asawadude, that pic is not the suspenion it's actually the headlight leveler. Are you sure that you have the air ride in the rear. I couldn't find anything on realoem.

Silver 5,

Are there any more adjustable rear endlinks available right now? and do they come with everything needed to be installed?

Thanks,
Mustafa Ali

I always keep them in stock. They come with everything needed to install including instructions. You just need some very basic hand tools and a jack. 20 minute install
