NP. Had he been doing these around the time I was constructing my first wood enclosure, I probably would have went with him also, and then never even ventured down the fiberglassing road (it was my first time as well) for the box I have now.

Twinspoppa has just received his enclosure, hopefully he will be able to comment about it soon. But I'm sure a subwoofer box is the least of his worries now that he has that awesome mustang project going on :thumbup:.
Hopefully he'll share his build with us.

Babylau will also be getting his box shipped out on Wednesday. Next three will be going out next week as well. That means you Ed, Idi, and Mike!


I don't know if this is something that would interest anyone, but maybe some of you have some X goodies lying around that you would be willing to trade for an enclosure..?

- Clear tails (grid pattern)
- Left headlight casing 2001-2002 production year
- Ipod cable (not FM transmitter, and I have non-DSP, non-NAV. Yes I know, its dreadful)
- Front decorative skidplate

Wow! Just found this thread. Glad you're getting more business but don't sell your self short. $150-$200 seems reasonable to ME. If you have a lot of time, want to learn and like a challenge, and save money - then have at it. Otherwise, really what other options do you have other than $500 plus.

Hell, I like to do some projects to save money but sometimes its "better" to buy it. Especially, when you have too many projects.

I haven't installed it yet but will try to do it soon. All I know is, time is money, and I would gladly pay allstars (which I did) to make one of these. Now I have more time for higher priority items! :D

Thanks for the support Twins. And yes, couldn't have set it better. Its ABSOLUTELY one of those things that are better to just buy. By the time you go through all the trial and error for materials, and till you find what works to make it the best, pretty much going to end up being around $150 anyways. Definitely worth saving yourself frustration too!
