Anyone know of a way to actually re-color the leather (to black or gray) in a manner that will last 10+ years and not screw up the feel of these? And not by replacing the leather... (too many $$$) The plastics parts are easy enough to handle...

and as part of this bump, if someone could also do a detailed diagram for wiring these into a 2011 Tacoma...

Personally, I would never dye leather. People do it, but I could never put full faith in it lasting...

The Tacoma seats are - being kind - pretty terrible by comparison. The wife's X5 has these comfort seats, have a leased X1 with the sport seats and the Tacoma is my tinker with it (hence the interest in these seats) toy that does the dirty work jobs.

Agreed on the dye job being impractical - but for someone with an X5 that could keep this color, who didn't get the sport or comfort seats, these are well worth changing over too...
