Bump for an Outstandingly nice X5.

This X5 is absolutely beautiful and I thought I was the only crazy obsessed person that kept their vehicles this clean.

Wow is all I can say from looking at the pictures and your extreme attention to detail.

Don't give up on selling it if the other vehicle is still what your looking for. I keep my vehicles as mint as you do and had a Vette for sale a few years back for about ~$5K over 'market value' and ended up having a guy fly in from Texas to Chicago and drive it back home. There are people out there that will pay a little extra for something this clean and well maintained.

Allot of people don't understand that the 'market value' cars that they will try and compare will be no where even close to the condition of your X5.

Truthfully, I'd keep it if I was you, but with that said, I know what it's like to want that 'something special' that comes along.... I have health issues myself and lost 3 very close friends (ages 49-53) in the past few years. You only live once, so do what you feel is right and enjoy life!

Your obviously someone who takes exceptional care of their things and I have no doubt you handle all of your affairs the same way.

Best of luck with the sale!!!

I really appreciate the kind words. I got attacked in two separate threads on m5board (it was a really good laugh if your bored and have nothing to do) about the price of the car despite half those guys asking $5 to $10k over what they're cars are really worth. Its nice to see someone with common sense see where I am coming from. You simply cannot buy a 4.8iS on the open market like this one for any less. I put the price I put because its good enough that I don't really know IF I want to sell.

My girlfriend, who has had a cleaning business for a few years, and wants to transition back into regular work (starting to take a serious toll on her health) about taking over the X and I think that's the more likely route. I would obviously still sell it for my asking price but if I don't - I won't lose any sleep over it. Sell her work vehicle, give her this, and buy what I want.

I drove it 350 miles this weekend including a trip to the cape where I had the pano open, windows down, and a smile from ear to ear. The weekend made me SERIOUSLY second guess the sale.

On a completely separate note - I am seriously jealous of your cars. A close friend of mine recently purchased a CPO 650i Vert which makes me drool and I've always been a huge fan of Raptor's. Power to you for living it up and not letting your health get you down. My near 70 year old father is on his second liver and going in for Kidney's soon. We always say the only reason he's still alive is because he doesn't let life get the best of him and has an incredible ability to laugh/brush things off. I have serious respect for you guys.

- Olek
