If I weren't going to be recovering from buying a 4.8is (and the maintenance it will surely need) I'd be extremely tempted... With BBK's there is usually a certain level of brake noise to be expected. Did this kit also exhibit a bit of squeeling at times?

Out of curiosity how close to San Jose is Irvine? LOL

The posi-quiet pads I had on there had no noise and very little dust. It did sacrifice brake performance a little but it was still more than adequate. I am also including the original Brembo pads which did dust more and had a little noise. However, the dust and noise still wasn't as bad as the OEM BMW pads.

San Jose is quite far, 6-7 hr drive but it's a common trip for a lot of people so it's not that bad.

I'm from San Antonio, TX.

LOL flying in to San Jose to pick up a 4.8is I bought and driving it back home. Adding another 14 hours to my trip does not sound fun. I'll be recovering from the purchase price and the maintenance it's going to need anyway. Was just running through more ways to be financially irresponsible because these are for sale...

I do wish I could get them though. Good luck with the sale.

You would actually pass right though Southern California on your way back to TX so it's no detour at all.

If one of the other BMW's I have for sale had sold... I would have picked them up. Had a lot of interest but unfortunately no one has come up with the cash yet.
