Sold -- BMW OEM e53 Tow Hitch - New in Box (NIB) - VA

Up for grabs is a NIB OEM BMW E53 hitch with all the components and electronics for a plug and play installation.

I purchased this kit from ECS for my '04 X5 6-speed years ago. It has sat (unopened) in my garage to this day awaiting the install. Unfortunately, a deer had other plans for my X5 and wound up totaling the thing despite all my plans, new parts and care.

The kit info is still there on the ECS site for info and contents:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/71600009711/

I'm in Northern VA and hope to find someone willing to pick this monster package up! It's in the original, sealed packaging, boxed and strapped. I can open up this 'time capsule' with you for pre-purchase inspection if you are in the area.

$650 picked up or delivered locally.

Yes, pics will be coming. Thank you.

Iím interested assuming the trailer hitch setup is still available. I really have not researched this project in quite some time. Is the ECS Tuning kit truly a factory OEM kit or are there some differences that you are aware of?
I live in Fredericksburg. What town are in?

This is definately the BMW factory hitch kit. Just sold through ECS. Has everything unopened to install including electronics module. Good directions to install the fatory hitch are here on xoutpost.

You cant really confuse this with aftermarket since the way it installs requires removal and replacement of bumper and supports to tie it into the frame.

For those local Im around Leesburg and can meet up and deliver around DC or Balt on weekends. If youre in Fred, Im down at Ft Belvoir during the week or can arrang a meetup.

Guess Ill have to open it up for pics...

Pics are here! -->

Pics!!

Hated to do it, but pulled the unopened hitch shipping box out of the garage after work this afternoon and slowly opened her up. Sticker says 101 lbs shipping weight!

A few shots I took as I unboxed it are here (in a rush!):
