E53 BMW OEM UNDERRIDE GUARD
For those who may not be familiar, this is an authentic BMW dealer provided item that was an optional enhancement to the E53 X5s that you can say was part of the "///M Performance" line before M Performance options were the well known thing they are today. This is a No Longer Available discontinued item and it's well sought after by E53 owners. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/51130392164/ I never got to install it since I was unable to locate the complete pieces of mounting hardware to do the install. I am sure they are out there ( I just never actively sought them out) and hopefully the buyer will have much better luck. There is nothing wrong with the piece. It is strong, well built, and rigid. Again, for those unfamiliar with the piece, the flattened sections that you are seeing of the cross braces near the mounting holes are designed from the factory like that to clear the sub-frame sections under the X5 and really hug the sub-frame. The piece has the forward facing sections that is visible in the front machine polished to a chrome finish and the sections hidden under the car were left the brushed finished look. This is not an imperfection and came from BMW factory like that. There is no structural damage to the piece, no cracks, not wobbly, very clean, and free of residue, road debris, and oil. This piece definitely gives the E53 X5s a completely different, more aggressive look once installed. Selling it for $1,000.00 and unfortunately I have to be firm on the price since that is what it cost me to obtain it.

Yes. This is not for the faint of heart. It's like the (unicorn) Vorsteiner hood that's sought after by the E39 M5 guys.
In my quest to find the mounting hardware for this a while back, I found two out of the three. Unfortunately I had to pay an additional $316.90 to get these in addition to what I've already paid for the guard. BMW sold these separately and the original owner of these passed on the cost to me. Clearly I needed them so I had no choice. I'm also selling these by themselves and separately from the guard as I know some folks already have the guard but need the mounting hardware. Same price as I paid, $316.90. The part numbers if you want to go after these yourself and not buy the lot that I have. Again, like the guard these are also discontinued and no longer available for obvious reasons. You may get lucky however: 51130028858 51130028859 51130302952 The first two part numbers are the actual individual sets of hardware. The last one is a bag o' bits of specialty washers, nuts, and bolts. As you can see from the photos, I was not having any luck with the 3rd set of mounting hardware so I had begun mocking up the integral mounting points of the guard and the X5's sub-frame using cardboard. If you're moderately handy as a weekend DIYer, you can fab the remaining brackets that are missing.
