IMO it's over prices since tit's a base model. No sports seats etc. Love it though.

i think it's priced OK for the miles. but i think it might be missing a gear and the color combo is not so hot in my opinion...
once just sold on ebay for 5,500 in NYC area / NJ. It was Black with 4.8is bumpers, trailer hitch, 6 spd, truffle brown interior... (I'm always keeping an eye out for manual X5's) gotta do craigslist and cars.com... selling a bone stock car on a forum is tough. people know too much for their own good.

Thanks for the input. I didnt think the color was great until I waxed it, and it grew on me. It's not common and I'm a fan of that. Also 2002 3.0i came in 5 gear MT. The sports models came in 6 speed. Everything is stock on the car, original Trans and motor, I figure adding BS to it more than keeping it "stock +" would ruin it. In the future I would have done wheels if I'd keep it. Being stock gives the next person unlimited options to do with it what they want. Thanks again! |

As the orig owner of a '01 3.0 5 spd, your car is interesting...low mileage, color is different , but the 17" wheels may be slightly off putting, but good for winter tires and swap from larger summer wheels/tires.
Our '01 is the 'sport' version, but all 3.0 X5s only had the available 5 spd manual; the 2004 through 2006 3.0 had the slightly overdriven 6 spd manual as a rarely chosen option. Your price may be a bit high, but some offer less than $6Gs may take it, if you wanted to move it. I wish you luck on your sale! GL, mD
