time to move her to a new home, after 10 years with us. We are relocating and won't have room to keep her (or the need).

This BMW X5 is at the point, IMO, where it can either be driven until expired or refreshed and given many years and miles of new life.

Approaching 170,000 miles.

Maintained by prior owner and me very well. Serviced every 5k miles, broken items repaired as they occur, with the exceptions noted below. Service and body records available. Mechanically fine.

The known flaws are:
Paint: top surfaces show what looks like water spots, but I think came from acid rain near a coal plant. Needs either a very good polish or a wet sand and respray on those surfaces (hood, top, mirror caps). The rest of the paint is good but could use a detailing polish.

A spot of surface rust on the passenger front door, rear edge at bottom.

Wheels, which are black (anthracite I think) need refinish due to chipping and some rash. I've waited on this because I wanted to do it with tires in a few thousand miles. Tires actually are fine but I like to change early, especially going into rain/snow season for better grip.

Splash screen won't advance (no response to button push). New problem, no clue yet what the fix is. Would ignore but needed for radio access and NAV (although that is an old system). Repair, replace with like, or replace with modern unit (AVIN)?

Priced at $5,000 firm on this board.
