Foxwell NT520 w/ BMW Software SOLD

Once we bought the F15 X5 I needed to upgrade to an NT530 so I have the NT520 Pro as an extra tool I don't need. Works great, just upgraded the unit via Foxwell's Windows tool a month or so ago so it should have the latest BMW software on it. Works great for all E chassis BMW's. Good condition, still has the plastic protector over the screen. $100 shipped in the CONUS.

Does it work on the E53? I’ll take it, if so.

I get into the DME under Diagnosis and there is not an Activate Test menu where I would expect one....had to use INPA to attempt to kick my fan into submission. LOL.

I have not checked into it. But I did have some issues with the 530 and reading the egs this last weekend when doing the trans service. Going to update the unit and see what happens. I shudder to think I should have kept the 520 for the e53. The 530 has worked flawlessly on the f15.

My 530 doesn't have any DME tests available under Diagnosis/Module/DME...I only get ECU info, read codes, clear codes. I messaged Foxwell for the path to the Aux Fan test routine and never heard back.

I use INPA for the deeper dive stuff now...but sure do wish I had a 520 instead of my 530.
