2004 BMW X5 3.0 6-speed manual, sport package in Irvine, CA

Located in Irvine, CA

Selling my rare 2004 BMW X5 6-speed manual with sport package. Bought the car in January 2022 as a 3rd car to haul mountain bikes and other toys. Put on only 7,000 miles in 2+ years and $3,500 on maintenance and upgrades. Put $13,400 into this car, looking to get $8,000 but definitely open to offers. Selling to fund some other hobbies. Smogged, registration paid through December, and ready to go. Bike rack NOT included.

The Good:
- Rare, 6-speed manual. Facelift for model year 2004 upgraded the 5-speed to 6-speed, along with X-drive and adaptive HID headlights.
- Rare combination with sport package, notable with the black chrome exhaust tips and 18" style 131 wheels.
- Upgraded AVIN4 headunit with touchscreen and Apple Carplay integration.
- Upgrade ZHP leather shift knob.
- New tires with less than 5,000 miles on them.
- New low profile roof rack crossbars
- New Curt 2" receiver
- New battery, installed
- Solid engine, no engine oil or coolant leaks.

The Bad:
- Transfer case is leaking, but not throwing codes or warning lights. I usually pull fuse 46 and run it in RWD mode.
- Recirculate button fell off.
- 2 of the 6 console bulbs are fading/gone, as noted in the photos. No known dead pixels.
- Shifter has play and could use some new bushings. Wanted to replace with a short shifter, but no company makes one for this model.
- The burl wood trim started to crack, as is common with these models. I've wrapped all wood trim in gray microfiber. This could be a good or bad, depending on if you like the look.
- Physical key in drivers door doesn't seem to turn, but key fob lock/unlock works fine.
- Accessory belt is loud, probably needs a new one in the next year or so.
